Oh what a beautiful thought to know that you are able to feel Gods warm breath. I cannot think of better proof that you are indeed well. Chris it is such a delight to share in your heightened senses and awareness - may we all learn to allow the same beautiful way to be!

Dear Heather, Do you ever go back to that Sunday morning, the four of us having breakfast, and talking about water skiing and pickle-ball and all sorts of things? Sometimes I wonder how much thought I might have given to the way our walk together might unfold, and I am pretty certain that I didn't even have the right continent - much less the right path. There is so much beauty and hope in that for me. The beauty and hope, and even the comfort of not knowing. Peace on your day, friend. And so much gratitude, Chris

What a beautiful idea, to sneak out without your words. I may have to try that but I’m afraid It might be a relentless battle.

I hear you, Kathleen.

I'm trying to be gentler with my words this week. Comforting them. Reminding them of how much I love and appreciate their diligence in keeping safe from what I cannot understand without their help..

And instead of sneaking out, which made them so anxious, I give them a choice: "Do you want to sleep in today, my dears? I promise to wake you when I return. Maybe you'd prefer just walk a few steps behind me, to take in the beauty silently and alone, but keep an eye on me for the times I might need you? Or perhaps you want to walk beside me and tell me what you see?"

They seem to appreciate being heard. Of course they do. And they seem to be growing more confident that I will be okay if they allow themselves a little break every now and again.
